Day 1 – Yerevan City Tour (December 31)
  • Arrival to the capital of Armenia – Yerevan city. Transfer from Zvartnots Airport to hotel.
  • City Tour: Driving to the Victory Park, Statue of Mother Armenia, Cascade, Opera House and Republic Square. Visiting also Tsitsernakaberd Memorial complex devoted to the victims of Armenian Genocide.
  • Lunch.
  • Visiting New Year Market on the Northern Avenue.
  • Free time.
  • New Year Celebration in club or restaurant with beautiful show.
Day 2 – Architecture (January 1)
  • Breakfast.
  • Saghmosavank is a church in a same named village, located in Aragacotn province. St. Sion’s church was constructed by Armenian ruler Vache Vachutyan in 1215.
  • Church situated near river Kasagh, with a surrounding canyon, which is natural defense for the church and the village from invaders.
  • Church Ohanavank has lot of similarity with a neighbor church Saghmosavank. Built in the same period of time and under the direction of ruler Vache - the church also rises above the canyon of the Kasagh River, in harmony with nature surrounding landscape.
  • Visit to the churches of Mughni and Oshakan. Church of St. George located in village Mughni is a best example of the Armenian cross dome architecture, and Oshakan is the tomb of Mesrop Mashtots, the creator of the Armenian Alphabet.
  • Return to Yerevan. Lunch.
  • Free time.
Day 3 - Nature (January 2)
  • Breakfast in the hotel.
  • Driving to Gegharqunik region, where is located lake Sevan, the pearl of our country.
  • Lake Sevan is the biggest water covered area in Armenia and the highest lake in Caucasus. It is located on 1900 m. above the sea level. On the peninsula of the lake, you will be able to see two churches constructed in 9th century, which are symbolizing the victory of Armenians during Arab invasion.
  • Heading to ski resort Tsaghadzor, located on the 1750 m. above the sea level. This resort is the main winter resort in Armenia, where tourists from whole over the world can spend their holidays and enjoy active, extreme and family tourism. You can rent a skies, motor bikes, explore mountains. The city is located in gorge and the name of the city is translated like a gorge of flowers.
  • Lunch.
  • Return to Yerevan.
Day 4 – Nature (January 3)
  • Breakfast in the Hotel.
  • Heading to Tavush province – to the Dilijan city. Surrounded by the mountains and forest Dilijan city is one of best places to enjoy the pure nature, fresh air. A peaceful place to be alone with nature.
  • Driving to Haghpat monastery, which was constructed in the end of the 10th century – 976. Monastery is located on a not very big plateau, surrounded with gorge and mountains. It was one of the largest monastery on the territory of Armenia, and since the middle of  the 9th century Haghpat became a cultural center of the province Lori and was a serious competitor to his brother – Sanahin Monastery.
  • Lunch in a restaurant.
  • Sanahin, as well as the nearby Haghpat were spiritual centers and bearers of the historical heritage of the same period. Each of them played its role as an outstanding scientific, educational, cultural and spiritual center. The exact date of the foundation of the Sanahin monastery is unknown, but it is believed the beginning of its history dates back to the IV century, when the cross of St. Nishan was erected here. The name "Sanahin" comes from a phrase in Armenian "this is older than that one", which emphasizes the age advantage of the Sanahin monastery over his brother in Haghpat.
  • In total, more than 20 buildings have been built on the territory of the complexes of Haghpat and Sanahin, including churches and chapels, auxiliary structures, tombs, bell towers, a school (Master's seminary), book storage, refectory, halls, bridges and other monumental structures, and also a lot of residential and household buildings.
  • The monastic complexes of Haghpat (in 1996) and Sanahin (in 1999), as a single group of monuments, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites as exclusive comprehensive values created by humankind.
  • Heading to Armenian – Georgian border, passing it and moving to the capital of Georgia – Tbilisi.
Day 5 – Tbilisi City Tour (January 4)
  • Breakfast in the Hotel.
  • Start Tbilisi sightseeing with a visit to Simon Janashia’s museum. The museum keeps a unique collection of natural and human history, with animal remains dating back 40 million years, and rich archaeological and ethnographic collections of different eras.
  • Gabriadze Tower. Walking in paved streets with historical surrounding.
  • Bridge of Peace-designed by a well-known Italian architect, one of the most famous city's landmarks.
  • Tamada Monument-toast-master.
  • Trip to the historical district of Metekhi, where you will visit the Assumption Church located on the picturesque hill.
  • Lunch in a restaurant.
  • Going up to Narikala fortress, situated on a hill. You will reach the fortress by cable car, and at the top, a spectacular view of the city opens. Going down by foot. Continuation of the tour to the waterfall.
  • Excursion to the sulfuric baths square – famous bath complex (XVII-XIX cc.), standing on the natural sulfur springs.
  • Drive to Guramishvili’s winery, close to Tbilisi. Here you will find the oldest item of the Georgian cultural heritage – Thaddeus Guramishvili’s wine cellar. You will get introduced to the Georgian culture and taste some delicious Georgian wines. This sight of Guramishvili’s and St. Ilia the Righteous is one of the most essential and magnificent touristic attractions in Georgia.
Day 6 – Fortress (January 5)
  • Start driving to Ananuri Fortress – a well-preserved castle on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir, the former defensive fortress of the feudal era. To reach Ananuri you need about 1 hour. You will stay there for 30 minutes.
  • Continuation the tour and after 20 minutes you will stop at the confluence of Black and White Aragvi rivers. You will have 10 minutes to take photos.
  • Lunch in a restaurant.
  • The tour continues to Gudauri town – the popular ski resort located on the south-facing plateau of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia. The town offers many exciting winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, heliski, free ride etc. free time in Gudauri.
  • In the evening, you will drive back to Tbilisi.
Day 7 – Departure (January 6)
  • Transfer to the airport. Departure.

 Day 2 – New Year in Yerevan (January 1)
  • Free Day
Day 3 – Mountains (January 2)
  • Breakfast in hotel.
  • Driving to Kotayk province and visitind a Cave Monastery of Holy lance Geghard, which was built in the 13th century. A unique monastery partly is carved in the rock and has beautiful halls in the caves. From 2000 monastery is included in Unesco Heritage list. Also on the territory of whole monastery complex there are big amount of stone crosses – monuments of Christianity constructed in 13-15th centuries.
  • Tour to pagan temple Garni – the only one that remain on the territory of Armenia after declaration the Christianity as a main religion in 301.
  • The temple was constructed in 77 AD and is devoted to the God of the Sun Mitra. Temple also belongs to Hellenistic period. Near to the temple, you will be able to see ruins of old church, castle and the Romanian bathroom with beautiful mosaique.
  • Lunch near Garni village in a villager’s house. Ceremony of baking lavash in tonir.
  • Driving back to Yerevan. Free time.
Day 4 - Ararat Valley (January 3)
  • Breakfast in the hotel.
  • Heading to Khor Virap Monastery. From the fortress of monastery, there is a spectacular view to Bible mountain – Ararat 5135 m. On the territory of monastery are located two prisons or deep pits and this is why the place is called Khor Virap - Deep pit. In this prison was tortured and kept Gregory the Illuminator who spend here more than 13 years. Gregory the Illuminator later became the Head of our church.  You can visit the prison where he was kept which is located under 6.5 meters under the ground.
  •  After heading to the South of country and visiting Noravank monastery complex constructed in 13-14th.
  • The road to monastery is passing through beautiful gorge of river Gnishik and Noravank Canyon, which is rich with caves and mountains.
  • Monastery is one of interesting places in Armenia because of unique architecture and the nature which surrounded by mountains.
  • Nearby is located a Bird’s cave where in 2008 the oldest shoe in the world was discovered.
  • Wine degustation in Areni wine village.
  • Lunch in Ljak restaurant.
  • Return to Yerevan.
Day 5 - Nature (January 4)

Day 6 - Pilgrimage (January 5)
  • Breakfast in hotel.
  • Visiting one of 12 old capitals of Armenia Vagharshapat city, now renamed as Echmiadzin.
  •  Echmiadzin is the center of Christianity in Armenia and the residence of the Head of the church. Cathedral of Holy Mother of God is the main sightseeing place here. The church was constructed in the 4th century and considered to be the oldest church in the country.
  • The treasure room in the Cathedral is famous with its many Christian reliques, and here is kept the Holy Lance and piece of wood of Noah’s Ark.
  • Driving to St. Hripsime and St. Gayane churches.
  • After going to ruins of Zvartnots temple, which constructed in 7th century as a new residence for the Head of the church. It was a unique building with 3 floors and with 45-49 meters height. Also included in Unesco's Heritage list.
  • Additional you can visit souvenir market Vernisage or local market where you can find traditional fruits, spices, cheese and smoked meat.
  • Evening Christmas celebration according to Armenian tradition.
